Helping Children Grow, Learn and Thrive

Legadel is a North-West London charity supporting children who are struggling to thrive and succeed at school. We provide early intervention, specialist guidance and personalised support for children with educational, developmental and learning needs. By working closely with parents, schools, therapists, specialist teachers and key workers, we help create a clear support plan around each child. Our aim is simple: to give every child the right support, at the right time, so they can build confidence, develop skills and reach their potential.

Our Mission

Why Legadel Was Created

Legadel was founded in June 2012 by a group of parents and professionals who recognised that some children were not managing within the school system and needed earlier, more coordinated help. Difficulties with speech and language, fine motor skills, reading, writing, numeracy or Hebrew reading can affect far more than a child’s schoolwork. When left unsupported, these challenges can impact confidence, behaviour, social development and emotional wellbeing. For many parents, knowing where to turn can feel confusing and overwhelming. Legadel was created to make that journey clearer, calmer and more effective.
